Since the year 2000, NCWC worked towards developing services to assist women and children who are victims/survivors of violence.

Mission Statement:
The National Centre for Women and Children of Tonga are based on the principles of Human Rights as stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with special focus on women’s human’s rights, the Convention of the Rights of the Child (CRC) and the Convention of the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).

The National Centre for Women and Children of Tonga Inc, is committed to the elimination of violence against women and children who are victims/survivors of rape, domestic violence, sexual harassment, and child sexual abuse and will work towards the elimination of all forms of violence in Tonga.

The NCWC Tonga is dedicated to the belief that no one has the right to inflict violence on a woman or child under any circumstances. NCWC must work to create a society where women and children can live without fear of violence.

Tonga Family Health Association-TFHA

Tonga Family Health Association was formerly known as Tonga Family Planning Association. It was found in 1975 by the volunteer members of the association. It is the only Non-Governmental Organisation promoting and providing sexual and reproductive health services. TFHA was incorporated by the Incorporated Societies Act of the government of Tonga on 18th January, 1995.

To promote support integrated family health services that are responsive to the needs and rights of community members, to enable them to make informed and responsible decisions toward improved health and well-being.

Committed to quality Teamwork and collaboration Tonga Family Health Association is a voluntary not for profit organisation. They believe that access to quality family planning information and health care is a basic human right.They rely on volunteers and recognize their valuable contribution to the association. They work with individuals and families with special emphasis on marginalized communities, to promote awareness and increased knowledge on sexual and reproductive health issues. They provide a range of services for young, single and married people.They have youth centre that is open to all people under the age of 25 years. At the centre they provide the following
